Flag of Malpartida de Plasencia

The flag and arms of Malpartida de Plasencia (photo, photo), adopted on 7 April 1997 and 13 April 1998 by the Municipal Council and validated on 16 July 1997, 17 February and 15 October 1998 by the Assessing Council of Honors and Distinctions of the Government of Extremadura, are prescribed by an Order issued on 24 November 1998 by the Government of Extremadura and published on 5 December 1998 in the official gazette of Extremadura, No. 140, pp. 9,048-9,049 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3. Composed of a green panel with an heraldic pall placed horizontally with its ends in the hoist's vertices and the fly's midpoint, its arms in width 1/5 of the flag's width.
Coat of arms: Vert a pall argent cantonned dexter by an axe of the same and sinister by a holly oak of the same. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
