Description

The municipal flag of La Romana can be seen in photographs online here, here, and here. The flag features the municipal coat of arms centered on a white field. The coat of arms is quartered much like the Dominican Republic national flag - 1st and 4th, blue; 2nd and 3rd, red; with a gold and white cross overall. The first quarter shows a gold sun rising over two wavy white lines representing the ocean. The second quarter shows a gold rampant bull over two white fleur-de-lis. The third quarter shows three gold spears, and the fourth quarter shows a white cogwheel above two sugar cane stalks.
