Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, on a base Vert a church Gules topped by two crosslets of the same.
Meaning: The church is a canting element, because the municipality's name means "new church". The church appeared already on local seals from the 18th century. Details changed frequently. The current aspect was fixed in 1908, the tinctures in 1961.

The banner was approved on 8 August 1989 by the county administration.
