Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, an equilateral triangle Gules, charged with a throughout cross fillet Or, having a disc Or on the intersection point of crossbars.
Meaning:
The image is derived from the local court seal from the 18th century. The colours were added in 1966 when the arms were approved. The red and golden colours are derived from the arms of the Lords of Hanau, who ruled the area in the Middle Ages and who gained city rights to Bruchköbel in 1368, which remained however defunct.
