Tagmersheim Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, issuant from chief a radiant sun Or, issuant from base a triplemount Or, topped by a fork branch Argent with two dog rose blossoms Argent, seeded and barbed Azure.
Meaning:
The name of the municipality is derived from "dagomar" (= daylight). The dog roses (Latin: Rosa canina) are representing the heathers around the village. The tinctures are those of the Counts of Graisbach. The Lords of Tagmersheim ruled the village as their vassals until 1578.
