Cégep Vert du Québec is an environmental certification program for public and private community colleges in Québec.

Cégep = Collège d'enseignement général et professionnel

Since its creation in 2004, the Cégep Vert du Québec program has grown steadily: in 2004-2005, five cégeps were certified, the following year it increased to 13 and last year, 25 cégeps obtained their certification. Since the start of the program, the number of cégeps certified has more than quintupled. The public can identify certified establishments when they are traveling, because each of them has received a flag which they can install on their mat in front of the establishment.
