The arms of Sainte-Thècle were adopted in 1867.

In the upper quarter, or represents the color used by ancient artists to highlight saints and heroes. Or is a symbol of sparkle, justice, faith, force and constancy.
The heart, a symbol of kindness, recalls the life and works of the parish's patron saint, St. Thecla.
The crown above the heart is a symbol of sanctity.
The red color used for both the heart and the crown unites the saint's life, works and sanctity.

In the left quarter, azure is a symbol of purity. The fir represents timber industry, a main source of income in Sainte-Thècle. The fir grows on a hill, which represents the parish's geographical location.

In the right quarter, bees are represented as the most laborious and valiant of the living organisms. The bees represent the parish's population. Gules represents the population's unity.

Beneath the shield, the maple leaves and the outer ornaments represent Canada as a beautiful country.
The French motto reads "Pass While Sowing Good".
