Description of the flag

The flag of Los Guayos Municipality is made up of three horizontal stripes of equal size in its width, in light blue, white and green, and in its length its size, it is on the line that is cut by a red triangle located on the right side of the flag, it begins at the two vertices of the rectangle and ends at the midpoint of its width and one fifth of the length, this triangle containing in its center a sketch of the territorial surface of the Municipality in light yellow.

The red color symbolizes the blood spilled by our indigenous people in the fight of resistance to the invaders and then to that of
our patriots for freedom.
The light blue color represents loyalty, justice and the blessing of heaven next to the majestic lake to which we owe our birth.
The white color represents peace, unity and the effort of all its inhabitants for the progress and development of the Municipality.
The green color represents hope, abundance and economic development.
