On November 7, 2024, TAMU-Commerce changed its name to East Texas A&M University. The school's seal and flag changed accordingly.

PMS 281 Blue flag, with blue outer border and PMS 124 yellow inner border, and a modified yellow seal in the center, with a solid, rather than a shaded star.
