Description of the flag

The International Order of The Rainbow for Girls was founded in 1922.

I've been informed that The International Order of Rainbow for Girls changed their flag from a rainbow flag to a design incorporating a rainbow logo as seen at www.gorainbow.org.

San Francisco-based Paramount Flag Co. began selling seven-striped (top to bottom: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet) flags from its Polk Street retail store. These flags were surplus stock which had originally been made for the the International Order of The Rainbow for Girls, a Masonic organization for young women.
