Description of the flag

For the centennial celebration of West University Place in 2024, city staff began designing a new flag to replace the flag that had been designed in 1995. The first 4 designs presented to the City Council on February 24 were white, blue, and green and included elements of “interlocked houses” logo with or without stars. Based on feedback from residents and members of the council, further work was done and resulted in a new flag incorporating the full “interlocked houses” logo which was approved by the City Council on May 13, 2024.
