The flag

A photo of the flag was sent to me by the borough manager. He said that the flag was retired and no longer used. Although no longer used, it's still counts as the official borough flag.

The flag is a white field with a red chevron in the center. This chevron does not touch the top nor the bottom of the flag. Inside the chevron is the borough name. On ether side outside the chevron is a year. The year of 1769 refrences to when Mount Oliver was founded by John ormsby. The year of 1892 is the year Mount Oliver was incorporated as a borough.
