The flag uses a county logo unanimously approved on January 17, 2023. The
logo itself represents the county as a whole, showing its border on the lake,
its greenery, and sun. The project for the adoption of the county logo was
initially started in 2020, but was put on hold due to the pandemic and started
again in 2022. It was designed with the cooperation of different departments of
the county government. Presumably, the flag was adopted in the same year.
It appears this flag is an alternative county flag; it flies alongside the
older one at the county courthouse. Indoors, the county government still uses
the older flag.
