Description of the flag

 The "الهيئة العامة للسجون والإصلاح" (French: Direction Générale des Prisons et de la Rééducation, English: Directorate General of Prisons and Rehabilitation) was established through "l'article 13 de la loi de finances n° 71-59 du 29 décembre 1971" (English: Article 13 of Finance Law No. 71-59 of December 29, 1971). Back then it was called "اللجنةالعامة للسجون والتأهيل" (French: Comité Général des Prisons et de la Rééducation, English: General Committee for Prisons and Rehabilitation). This institution comes under the Ministry of Justice under Law No. 2001-51 of May 3, 2001 and its current organizations is given through Law No. 2001-52 of May 14, 2001.
