Description of the Flag

The Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000 showed no flag for Suphan Buri, only its badge. On the provincial website, the flag of Suphan Buri is shown ; it is horizontally divided dark blue / red / dark blue (~1:3:1) with the provincial seal in the middle. The provincial seal shows the elephant battle between King Naresuan the Great and the crown prince of Burma named Minchit Sra in 1592, which took place in Suphan Buri.
