Description of the flag

A photo of the flag was found at http://moyaokruga.ru/nasha_zhizn_m_el/Articles.aspx?articleId=285043. It is horizontally divided red over green with a white strip along the hoist with a complex geometric edge. In the center is a white eight-petalled rose.

Silver (white) is a symbol of simplicity, clarity, perfection, nobility, purity and peace. Scarlet (red) - a symbol of creative activity, the wealth of loyalty. Emerald (green) is a symbol of spring, prosperity, health, fertility, abundance and life. These colors were chosen as the main ones, as they are traditional and the most revered among the peoples of the Mari, Tatars and Russians.
