Blazon: I sølv en blå blåklokkeplante. In English: Argent a harebell plant azure. 
Approved by the crown prince-regent's resolution of 13 July 1990
The harebell (known in Scotland as the bluebell, having the same literal translation from the Norwegian) is a typical flower of the harsh northern climate to match the municipal motto: a natural pearl at 70 degrees North.
