Blazon: I grønt tre gull eikenøtter i trepass. In English: Vert three acorns in pall stems conjoined or.
Approved by the royal resolution of 14 December 1984 after a drawing by Svein Arild Berntsen.

The municipal web site explains that three acorns represent the three towns in the municipality: Moi, Hovsherad and Ualand (or Ualand/Heskestad as given at http://www.lund.kommune.no/flytte-til-lund.181056.nn.html)
[c2j87] also notes that the design is well known in older heraldry and that it was used by some Danish and Swedish families in the late Middle Ages.
