on free edges the arms of Domeikava: growing brier. Flag
proportions 5:6, finial is golden knob. The arms symbolizes
the fight for freedom, torment, self-sacrifice and resurrection.
Inhabitants of Domeikava and environs were distinguished by their
active fight for freedom since the uprising in 1863 till the
anti-Soviet underground activities in 1980ies.
