Birstonas - on a white field the arms of Birstonas: a
fantastic fish squirting water. Flag proportions 5:7, free edges
bordered with narrow white and blue rectangles framed on both
sides with narrow silver stripes, finial is a golden knob with a
ring. The arms symbolize the springs of mineral water, vital for
this resort town. Also it reminds of the past symbol of
Birstonas: the sculpture of a fish with mineral water running out
of mouth, which was drowned together with large area of town,
when the Kaunas water-power plant was built.
