Located in Kawagoe City Saitama Prefecture and established in 1965. The embroidered ceremonial flag has red background with a gold emblem and vertically written gold kanji college name in gold fringe. The college flag has purple background with a white emblem and white kanji college name written horizontally. Toho's college emblem is based on a musical instrument (much like a harp) held by the god Muse, who serves Apollo (god of arts and learning) in Greek and Roman mythology, and a lyre. The lyre shape and tuning fork (to tune the instrument) are superimposed on the lyric "If the muse's grace is deep" in Toho's song, and the kanji university abbreviation 東邦大 are placed in the center.
