Located in Hino City Tokyo and established in 1964. The embroidered ceremonial flag has dark red background with a gold emblem in gold fringe. The university flag has dark red background with a white emblem. (Source) The university emblem is a stylized version of the word 大学"university" with 16 five-pointed stars around it. The ring-shaped binary star consisting of one main star and 15 minor stars is a wish for "Ideals are high, deeds are more than a step”. The Chinese character大学 for "university" is written inside the star in the shape of a design. The University emblem was established in 1966.
