Located in Hiroshima City Hiroshima Prefecture and established in 1994. The university flag has sky blue background with a blue and white emblem in the center. The school emblem is based on the theme of solidarity among the three faculties of Hiroshima City University and the pursuit of infinite learning, and combines the initials I, I, and A of the International Faculty, the Faculty of Information Science, and the Faculty of Art to create an image of "endless ascent" and "flight into the future. The design also echoes the "three arrows teaching" of Mouri Motonari, a warlord from Hiroshima.
