Flag

Located in Fukuoka City Fukuoka Prefecture and established in 1963. The embroidered ceremonial flag has blue background with a gold emblem in gold fringe. The university emblem is a design of the Chinese characters 電大學. The emblem is estimated to have been adopted between 1958, when Fukuoka Radio Waves College was founded, and 1963, when the College of Electronic Engineering was founded. The emblem of the university is based on the Chinese character 電 which represents the strong desire that Mr. Tamaichi Kuwabara, the founder of Fukuoka Radio Arts College, had for space and electronic communications.
