Flag

Located in Sapporo City Hokkaido Prefecture and was established in 1950. The embroidered ceremonial flag has a dark red background with a gold emblem and vertically written gold kanji university name in gold with gold fringe. The emblem is a design of "醫" the old Chinese characters for medicine and "大"for university.
