The city emblem was adopted on Jul 12th 2005 by Notice No 203 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a yellow and an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized katakana ア A of Asago. The orange circle symbolizes an interchange of the people, the orange and yellow color do the sun rays. It represents an image of morning sun rising from four towns and a green mountain.
