The flag

The flag of NK Trenk (Nogometni klub Trenk), a football club from Seoce (Nova Kapela Municipality, Brod-Posavina County), is diagonally divided blue over white with the badge centered.

The club was named after Baron Franjo Trenk (Franz von der Trenck).

Baron Franjo Trenk (German: Freiherr Franz von der Trenck; Reggio di Calabria, 1711 – Brno, 1749) was a Croatian baron, a Habsburg nobleman and soldier, and the leader and commander of the pandurs during the War of the Austrian Succession (1740–1748), with whom he fought in Silesia, Bavaria, Austria, and Bohemia.

Although not of Croatian origin, the appearance of Baron Franjo Trenk in the history of the Croatian people and the history of warfare left a striking impression. Under his command, Croatians — primarily from the Croatian region of Slavonia — gained renown as excellent warriors.
