Presentation of Lykovrysi-Pefki

The municipality of Lykovrysi-Pefki (Λυκόβρυση-Πεύκη, 31,002 inhabitants in 2011, 374 ha) was established in the 2011 local government reform as the merger of the former municipalities of Lykovrysi (9,650 inh.) and Pefki (21,352 inh.).

Pefki (lit., "a pine", before 1959: Magkoufana, Μαγκουφάνα) is a suburbs in the northeastern part of the Athens agglomeration. Its flag of (Kokkonis website) was white with the municipal emblem.
