The flag of Cadw, the Welsh equivalent of English Heritage or Historic
Scotland, i.e., a quango whose job is to care for historic buildings and sites
which are in the ownership of the state. 'Cadw' is a Welsh word ('w' is a vowel
-'cad-oo'). It means 'to keep'.
The Cadw emblem appears on their website,
though it's not very big.

The flag shown here is the new version - issued to us this year in February
to replace previous versions. It started shipping this month (March 2004).
