Shield Or, three lions passant guardant, also called leopards, Sable tongued Gules and ordered per pale, chief gules charged with an orb Or.
Meaning:
A seal of the village mayor from 1930 displayed a naturalistic image of Waldburg Castle. After WW2 on local seals this image was put into a shield. All charges were taken from the family arms of the Princes of Waldburg-Wolfegg-Waldsee with their permission. The flag colours were adopted by the local council as a distinguishing mark due to similarities with the banner of Baden-Württemberg.
