Sünching Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a demi-boar issuant Azure under a chevron of the same emabttled above.
Meaning:
The boar is a differentiation of the family arms of the Sünchinger kin, which displayed a black salient boar on a yellow shield. The kin lived in the village from the 12th until the 14th century. A boar had been also part of the family arms of the Seinsheimer kin, who lived in the local castle from 1573 until 1916. The chevron is taken from the arms of the Hofer of Lobenstein family, who owned the village until the middle of the 15th century.
