Köfering Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a curry comb Gules with four teeth, at sinister Gules a chevron Argent charged with a lark rising Sable.
Meaning:
The comb is taken from the arms of the Köferinger family, who lived in the village in the 13th and 14th century. Chevron and lark are taken from the arms of the Counts of Lerchenfeld, who lived in the village since 1569.
