Nordrach Coat of Arms

Shield Argent with base Vert, standing on base a bishop in robe Gules with mitre Or, holding a fish Argent by his right hand and a crozier Or hafted sable in bend sinister by his left hand.
Meaning:
Until 1803 the municipality belonged to the Imperial City of Zell upon Harmersbach, before it was acquired by Baden. The print of the first municipal seal from 1805 was parted per pale and displayed the Badenian bend at dexter and St. Ulrich of Augsburg at sinister. Later seals displayed the saint alone. There had been many variations of different quality. The current pattern was based on a proposal of the general State Archive of Baden from 1900. St. Ulrich is also the local patron saint.
