It is a white-red vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top and surrounded by a black inscription "MARKT" above and a black embowed inscription "GRAFENGEHAIG" beneath the shield.

Grafengehaig Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a wall issuant Argent masoned Sable with a gate tower Argent, flanked by a weaver's shuttle Or at dexter and a grain ear Or at sinister.
Meaning:
The wall is depicting the fortification of the local graveyard. The local parish church and the defence tower were finished in the 15th century. The longhouse and the western tower were built in 1510. Ear and shuttle are symbolising the most important business lines agriculture and weaving.
