Shield Azure with orle Or; two credenza knives Or bladed Argent in saltire.
Meaning:
The knives are taken from the arms of Quedlinburg Abbey and are obviously identical with the personal arms of abbess Anna II of Stolberg, who granted her arms to the village in 1541.

Meaning:

The shield of the old arms was a targe, parted per bend by a monocular telescope Sable garnished Argent, above left Gules three 6-point stars Or, beneath left Argent a waning crescent Or. These arms had been improved due to heraldic rules. The shield now is the usual Iberian shield (German: Halbrundschild), typically for most German municipal arms. The shield is parted per bend, above right Gules three 6-point stars Argent, beneath left Argent a waning crescent Gules. The telescope was omitted.

The old flag and arms probably never had been approved officially though according to source at least the arms (not mentioned which arms) had been approved on 17 February 1936 by Prussian province governor (Oberpr?sident) of Saxony.

Hedersleben Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, parted by two broad bends sinister wavy Azure, superimposed by a bend chequered of Gules and Argent, in base a sugar beet Gules leafed Vert.
Meaning:
The blue wavy lines are representing the local rivers Bode and Selke. The bend, a Cistercian bar, is referring to the Cistercian monastery of St. Gertrud, built in 1253. Sugar beets are representing the fertile soil and the most important crop.

Selke-Aue Coat of Arms

Shield Azure with base Argent, charged with a barrulet wavy Azure; an oak leaf Or flanked by two towers Argent masoned Sable with different roofs.
Meaning:
The two towers had been chosen, as all three former municipalities used a tower in their arms. They are representing the former municipalities of Hausneindorf and Wedderstedt. The oak leaf is taken from the arms of Heteborn. The base is symbolising the name giving Selke River.

Wegeleben Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a castle Argent with two embattled towers, having cone roofs Gules topped by balls Or, a half open portcullis Sable, issuant from wall a saint, nimbed and dressed Or, bearded Argent, holding a key Or in pale by his right hand, in port an impending inescutcheon Argent, charged with a fess Sable.
Meaning:
The saint is St. Peter, patron saint of the local parish church, recognisable by his attribute the key. The castle is symbolising the fortification of the city. Being fortified since 1267, nevertheless Wegeleben was called a market town. The inescutcheon displays the arms of the Lords of Wegeleben, local rulers since at least 1120. They had been vassals of the Askanians and since 1316, when the town was acquired by the Bishopric of Halberstadt, of the bishops. The city became a possession of the Margraviate of Brandenburg in 1648.
