Flein Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, issuant from base flames Or with tips Gules, heating a kettle Or, sitting in kettle a naked, praying saint proper, nimbed Or.
Meaning:
St. Vitus is the local patron saint, the kettle had been his instrument of torture. The ensemble already appeared on a stone of the municipal hall in 1604, on boundary stones in 1699 and in local seals since 1903.

The arms were approved in 1956, and on occasion of the flag approval confirmed on 11 January 1957 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg.
