Shield Or, issuant from base a triplemount Vert, above a winegrower's knife Azure hafted Gules between two horns Sable.
Meaning:
The first arms were introduced in 1908, based on a seal of the local reeves from the 1471. It is derived from the family arms of the Lords of Hornberg, who had been reeves of Sankt Gallen until 1458. The knife is a local symbol, known since the 8th century. It is also alluding to viticulture.
