Oberreichenbach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Gules a torso of a sinister facing hind rampant Argent tierced by an arrow Or in bend; at sinister Or a torso of a lion rampant Sable, armed and tongued Gules and superimposed by a bendlet Argent; base quartered of Argent and Sable.
Meaning:
The village had been a condominion of the Margraviate of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, represented by the base, and the Archbishopric of Bamberg, represented by the sinister half displaying a differentiated version of the archbishopric's arms. The tierced hind is the attribute of St. Giles, local patron saint since the 16th century.
