Description

The Höhere Kommunalverbände (higher communal associations) in Baden-Württemberg are two Landeswohlfahrtsverbände corresponding basically to the former states of Württemberg and Baden. The Landeswohlfahrtsverband Württemberg-Hohenzollern uses a "modern" logo flag since Autumn 2000. The flag (used as a hanging flag) shows on blue the inscriptions "LWV" and "Landeswohlfahrtsverband Württemberg-Hohenzollern" (in white and light blue) and some slant segments (in light blue). The inscription "LWV" with its forward-leaning font type symbolizes "the future looking orientation".

This association includes the former Prussian province of Hohenzollern.

Santiago Dotor, 16 October 2001

The two Landeswohlfahrtsverbände in Baden-Württemberg have ceased to exist as of 31 December 2004. Therefore the flags also have ceased to be used, at least as flags of these two administrations.
