At
https://www.caimito.gob.cu/es/simbolos-provinciales/7046-escudo-caimito, the
description and an image of the flag of Caimito is shown, as well as its coat of
arms. According to the description, it appears the correct ratio is 1:2, but the
image shows the ratio differently. The field's color (green, though closer to turquoise) is the predominant color
in the geography of Caimito.
Approved at a Municipal Bureau of the Party, at
the recommendation of the Commission on Historic Matters of the Municipality.

According to
https://www.caimito.gob.cu/es/simbolos-provinciales/7046-escudo-caimito:
The municipal coat of arms is inspired by the original design of Vicente D.
Medina Migénes, Graduate in Special Education and primary school teacher, helped
in digitization by Derik Ordaz Iglesia and Abdelaziz Medina Castro. The idea was
formed in 2006 and materialized in February of 2012. To summarize, it represents
its patriotism, agriculture, industry, landscape, local plants, as well as
canoeing and karting which can be found here.
1879 is the foundation year
(1 June 1879). The 10 small shapes in the colors of the national flag represent
the historic settlements: Vereda Nueva, Ceiba del Agua, Guayabal, CapellanĂa,
Caimito, Aguacate, Banes, Central (Lucia), Rancho Grande, and by the revolution
Menelao Mora. The five sections are symbolic of the five People's Councils, with
which the municipality has been organized since 1976. The open book represents
education, science, and culture. On the right page is a cow, a part of the local
economy; and to the left an AKM, the official weapon of defense in the
territory. Above is a palm tree which represents a typical Cuban landscape, but
is upright to represent historic awareness held by the people. Moralidad and
Honradez mean Morality and Honesty.
To the right is a depiction of
industry, with two chimneys; the tallest is representative of the sugarcane
industry, while the second is for the carbide and acetylene industry. To the
left, a tractor and animal-drawn plow is depicted for agriculture in the
municipality. The lower section is green for being the predominant color in the
territory, reading Solidaridad meaning Solidarity. At the top is a star apple in
green and purple, of which its germinated core can be seen, and is a
representation of the municipality itself. Holding it up is a bundle of 5 rods
representative of the popular councils, tied together in a ribbon bearing the
colors of the July 26th movement. At the bottom, the bundle goes through the
rubber of a tire, representing the Cocomar Karting Track. The two oars are for
the training center of rowing and canoeing. Bordering this, to the right, is the
branch of the Caimito (or Star Apple) tree. To the left is the branch of a
citrus tree. At the very bottom is a ribbon with the municipal name.
