The last Austrohungarian regulation on military flags of 1915 introduced
substantial changes in the design of the flags for generals and admirals,
however, retaining the previous model of dividing them into command flags
(admirals, plus commodore pennant and masthead pennant) and service flags
(generals). There is no record known to me that these flags were ever introduced
in any kind of service. [Baumgartner, 1977, p. 34]

The flag for Groß-Admiral is a red-white-red triband with three white
six-pointed stars, one in the middle of the top red stripe and one in each end
of the lower red stripe, and overall a golden laurel wreath.
