Tla A' min
Salishan linguistic group - Comox language
Located near the town of Powell River, BC, 130 km NW of Vancouver.
Population: @ 1,000
Under the terms of the Agreement between Canada, British Columbia and
Sliammon Nation, on 05.04.2016 this tribe became the self-governing Tla'amin Nation,
and on that date a new flag was hoisted for the first time. The Tla'amin Nation
has about 1160 enrolled members, of which 615 live on reserve land.
