"It was confirmed at 2001. In a vert field is an or deer, above it is argent wavy barrulet. The authors are V.V.Biloshapka, V.S.Lysenko. Behind national retelling the name of settlement occurs on behalf of the first inhabitor Olexander. This name of the Greek origin means "the courageous defender of people ". The courageous, noble defender is symbolized by the deer. Deers livt near settlement. Barrulet means the river Tjasmyn which crosses settlement in the north."
