Logo Flag

There are no official flag nor coat of arms approved yet, and no trace so far of one being in the works.
However there seems to be an unofficial flag doing the rounds, white with the communal logo centered on it : The logo consists mostly of lettering reading "ribeira" above smaller "do neiva" in bold serifless and earless teal letters, itself above "união de freguesias" set in very small and thin black letters of the same face. This is stacked above a vaguely crescent shape, with its concave side poiting up (yielding the shape of the usual heraldic shield), patterned in six different shades of teal, suggesting a river´s flowing water — which is a canting element, as "_ribeira do Neiva_" means "[flood]plain of the [river] Neiva".
