The arms are Or a cork oak Vert at dexter and a wheat sheaf Vert at sinister and in chief an open book Argent bound Gules and in base a flagon Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "FREGUESIA DE VIANA DO ALENTEJO"
