Shield Vert, a pillory Argent, flanked by two branches of walnut Argent fruited Or, in chief a scallop Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "NOGUEIRA - VILA NOVA DE CERVEIRA".
Meaning.
The scallop is an attribute of St. James of Compostela, the local patron saint. The branches of walnut are canting elements, because a "nogueira" is a walnut tree.

Shield Vert, a base wavy of Argent and Azure, in chief a Paschal Lamb Argent nimbes Or carrying a labarum ( a banner) Argent with a throughout cross Gules, fixed on a cross-shaped pole Or, between two oak twigs, each having three leaves Argent set triangular and two acorns Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "REBOREDA".
Meaning:
The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, the local patron saint.
