Shield Vert, a throughout bar wavy Argent charged with a barrulet wavy Azure between two grapevines Or leaved Argent ordered per fess in chief and a watermill wheel Argent garnished Sable in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "JUNTA DE FREGUESIA DE GONDAR - VILA NOVA DE CERVEIRA" (rare; left image). Another version has the inscription: "GONDAR - VILA NOVA DE CERVEIRA" (right image).
