Coat of arms

Shield Or parted by a bend wavy Azure fivefold divided into Azure and Argent, in sinister chief a cogwheel Vert, in dexter base a dolmen Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "CORONADO - S. ROMÃO".
Meaning:
The bend wavy is representing the banks of Mamoa and São Romão creek. The dolmen is symbolizing the very early settlements in the area and is alluding to the former name Mamoa de São Romão do Coronado. The cogwheel is symbolizing industries.

São Romão do Coronado Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Trofa Municipality (q.v.); it had 4728 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 3.5 km².

Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "CORONADO - S. MAMEDE".
