Former São Vicente do Paul Commune (until 2013)

It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain red field.

Shield Argent, a sip Azure rigged of the same carrying two ravens Sable, one at prow and one at stern, in base a bridge Gules masoned Sable and issuant from a base wavy of Azure and Argent. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "S. VICENTE DO PAUL"
Meaning:
The ship and the ravens are alluding to St. Vincent, the local patron saint (the arms of Lisboa have a similar pattern). The bridge is representing a very old one located in the commune. The base wavy is symbolizing Alviela River. Draft designed by Diácria Editora Company based on suggestions of the local council and Father Diamantino.

São Vicente do Paul Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Santarém Municipality (q.v.); it had 1832 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 50.1 km².

Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, a fig leaf Vert flanked by two olive branches Vert fruited sable, in chief a farmer's cap Vert crowned by a pompon Gules and seemed Gules. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "VALE DE FIGUEIRA - SANTARÉM".
Meaning:
The fig leaf is a canting element. The branches are symbolizing the riches of olive oil. The base wavy is representing the rivers Tejo and Alviela. The golden colour is representing the riches of wheat. Draft designed by José V. C. Gaspar and the local council.
