Shield Argent, an eradicated apple tree Vert with apples Or, flanked by two lions rampant addorsed Gules, each one charged with a scallop Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "MACIEIRA DE SARNES".
The apple tree (Port.: macieira) is a canting element.
